Belén Tarifa

Belén Tarifa is a Singer/Actor/Mover primarily based in Washington D.C. while bouncing back and forth from NYC. She is a proud Boliviana who has been lucky to share her culture through her work. Her passion for music spans generations, whether she was listening to her mother sing at church or spending most afternoons with her Abuelo watching films. painting, and learning. Growing up with immigrant parents led to a passion for advocacy and a dedication to take up space and be the representation she wished to see. 

While music and singing were always a part of her life, her love for theater came at a later age than most. Being in her first musical shortly before COVID hit, she took a leap of faith her junior year when she decided that performing was her true calling. Flash forward a few years later, and she's recently graduated 

from Virginia Commonwealth University with a BFA in Musical Theater! Her current post-grad goals are to be involved in New Works, continue to share her culture through the arts, and travel around the world as much as she can! 

​​In her downtime, you'll find her trying to learn a new instrument or language, deciding she's the next beauty guru, and spending time with her friends or her tiny but mighty dogs!
